Counting calories is the weight-loss method that most people are familiar with. This method is simple – just burn more calories than you consume and you will lose weight. Since 3500 calories represent one pound of weight, then if you eat 3500 calories less than what you consume in a week – you will lose one pound per week guaranteed!
However, counting calories allows you to eat all kinds of food, including unhealthy junk food, fast food, and processed food. To achieve rapid weight-loss and be healthy, you should minimize the amount of unhealthy foods you consume daily. With that said, you can still eat a wide variety of delicious food, including your favorites, without starving or feeling hungry.
Also, to move your rapid weight-loss journey into the fast lane, you can also add some of the new age supplements to your daily routine and potentially watch additional pounds drop off without any additional effort on your part. We will discuss this option in great detail later on.
If you want to move your rapid weight-loss game up a notch, then you could also exercise as little as 20 minutes three times a week. The more you can do, the faster you will lose weight. However, if you don’t have time at all to exercise then that is OK too.
Remember, you will have a much better chance for weight-loss if you consider your weight-loss journey to be a healthy lifestyle change, which will drastically increase your chances of losing weight permanently as well as be much healthier.
The counting calories method works for most peoples and is widely used. However, if you are a bodybuilder or have medical dietary restrictions, then it may be necessary to also keep track of your daily carbohydrate, protein and fat consumption, which is called macro counting. Macro counting is not covered in this article.
Should I Use A Weight-loss System?
Many people pick a weight-loss system like “Zone”, “Paleo” or “Keto” because they may have food preferences or dietary restrictions. For example, some diabetics may pick a low carbohydrate system to reduce the amount of carbohydrates they consume in a day. Others may love fat and pick a weight-loss system that caters to a high-fat diet.
It is important to note that you really don’t have to use any weight-loss system at all. As stated earlier, you can simply count your calories, stay away from unhealthy foods as much as possible, then you are on the road to rapid weight loss.
Personally, I do not recommend one weight-loss system over another; Even so, I will continue to provide information and recommendations. In fact, you would have more meal options if you did not pick any weight-loss system at all. However, using a weight-loss system is a personal decision based on personal preferences and needs.
At the end of the day, it does not matter which weight-loss system you use or if you use any at all. This article focuses mainly on calorie counting and does not focus on where your meals come from as long as you are eating somewhat healthy and within your caloric daily limit.
Counting Calories – I Don’t Have Time!
Over 50% of the well-intended weight-loss attempts fail if the meals are too time-consuming or frustrating to deal with. This is understandable since most people these days are very busy burning the candle at both ends, which does not leave much time for weight-loss meal planning, meal preparation, meal cooking, and calorie counting.
If you don’t have time to shop for healthy ingredients, prepare and cook your own rapid weight-loss meals, then you will glad to know that there are some great and cost-effective options that you can explore.
These options are fresh and tasty chef-prepared, ready-made, and very healthy meals and snacks. When I first heard of these types of services, I thought it would be very expensive to purchase ready-made healthy meals that I could place in the microwave and eat. However, I discovered that eating 2 or 3 fast food meals in a day is much more expensive than having healthy ready-made meals delivered to my door.
Since you save so much time and effort, the ready-made option becomes quite attractive. And, in my humble opinion, making your rapid weight-loss journey as hassle-free as possible helps ensure that you stay with the program until your weight-loss goals are reached.
One of the other advantages of ready-made meals is that they often state how many calories you are eating in a day, which helps to reduce the need for calorie counting. Based on my research, I can see how ready-made meals are a good option for many. However, it is not for everyone and depends mostly on personal choice and needs.
